Arguably one of the greatest challenges we face in making technology of any kind work within a school environment is meeting the unique and in some ways competing needs of the different stakeholders. This is particularly true when it comes to a regular wellbeing check-in tool. Students need this to be quick and engaging, teachers need it to be simple enough for regular use and senior leaders need robust insights over time that inform their decision making. There is a fine line between over complicating to achieve detailed insights or over simplifying and not getting enough insight.
Achieving simple yet powerful has been a particular area of focus for our team, so today we are pleased to announce the launch of a new feature that will aid teachers and senior leaders in getting that robust insight a little more simply. Cohort Analysis will allow you to compare student positivity at the touch of a button. This can be useful for comparing groups to understand which students might be experiencing greater difficulties and at what time periods in the year, or it might be that you wish to assess program effectiveness by comparing students attending wellbeing programs against those that are not attending.
